All gear is included. Please take care of the surfboard, leash, and rashguard provided.

    We keep it simple and fair:
    • 48+ hours before the lesson: Full refund or free reschedule.
    • 24–48 hours: Free reschedule (no refund).
    • Less than 24 hours: Full charge applies.
    • Unsafe ocean conditions: If we cancel due to safety, we reschedule at no cost.

    Do I need any previous surf experience?

    No experience needed.

    Anyone can join — from first-timers to experienced surfers. Being comfortable in the ocean is recommended but not required.

    Is there an age limit?

    No age limit.

    We welcome all ages — kids, teens, adults, and seniors.

    Please bring sunscreen, water, and good energy!

    Do you use wetsuits?

    No. Costa Rica is tropical and the water stays around 25°C (77°F).

    A rashguard is enough.

    How are the groups organized?

    We keep groups small and personalized.

    Students are grouped by age and surf level to ensure safety and quality.

    Private lessons are also available.

    How long is a lesson?

    Approximately 90 minutes including warm-up, theory, and water time.

    Can I book a private lesson?

    Yes. Private lessons are ideal for fast progression and one-on-one coaching.

    What if conditions are not safe?

    Your safety comes first. If waves or weather are unsafe, we reschedule for a better time.

    Do I need to know how to swim?

    Swimming is recommended, but not mandatory.

    Many beginners learn with us even if they are not strong swimmers.

    Can I bring my own surfboard?

    Yes, you can use your own board or gear as long as it’s in good condition.
